Artificial intelligence-driven creativity: what’s new in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2024

Adobe has introduced two versions of Photoshop and Premiere that offer numerous features that make editing images and video easier.

New features include auto-selection tools, color adjustment, and AI effects. Unlike other versions that are available on a subscription basis, Elements can be purchased individually, giving users a more optimized version of Photoshop and Premiere.
These updates provide an economical option for users who need easy-to-use but powerful software for their creative projects.

New features

In Photoshop Elements, automatic selection tools and quick actions make photo editing easier. Of particular note are JPEG artifact removal and new artistic effects options.

Premiere Elements offers automatic selections for video sequences and new sound effects, such as reverb and vocal enhancer, to improve sound. With highlight clips, for example, users can focus on action, close-ups or scenes of the highest quality.

Both programs have the ability to transfer colors and tones from another image at the touch of a button. Photoshop Elements also allows users to create and share fast-moving photos.

Photoshop already works with an image generator

Adobe Firefly AI, an AI-powered image generator, has been available in the full version of Photoshop for months. Users can use it to create or modify images or parts of images by entering prompts.

The tool also offers the ability to enlarge images and automatically fill in empty spaces in the image. The AI can remove unnecessary objects from images, providing additional flexibility and control when editing images.
